Valentines Day is a time set aside for loved one and lovers to enjoy the romance of their relationship. And as far as romance goes, surprises make a welcomed catalyst.
Giving flowers is hardly a novel valentine tradition. Flowers have been used as a medium for expressing love since the late 1600s. There have been many poems and plays written about the beauty that lies within flowers and the grace found in its presentation as a gift. Roses, Tulips and carnations are amongst some of the popular flowers that are given on that day.
There are many flower shops today with provide valentine day flower deliveries. Every year people place orders and send their favourite person’s valentine flowers. A well arranged bouquet of flowers says “I love you” just as loudly as a warm hug. However, it is normally advisable to place your orders before Valentines Day. This will ensure that you do not get caught in the valentine “rush hour” or be forced to pay the steep rates that are normally charged during this window.
The arrangement of your Valentines Day flower can either be done by you or the flower shop. More often than not roses are a common choice by lovers. A red rose sends a strong message of passion and is a common choice in bouquet selections. But, there are many other combinations or options which can be considered. There are white, pink and cream coloured roses as well.
Alternatively, instead of making a bouquet consisting of only one type of flower with varying colour, a person can create a bouquet which consists of several. Lilies and Tulips for example can be mixed together to form a bouquet that is classic and beautiful. Carnations as well can also be included. Most of these flowers are available in various colours but red and pink are understandably the most common choices during valentine.
Finally, you should not forget to include something warm along with your flowers. Since you will not be presently there when she receives the Valentines Day flower delivery, you will need to attach a note telling her from who it is from. A romantic message is also a good idea in these instances. Your message can be a simple “I love you” text, or comprised of a poem, song or some rhetoric that captures the spirit of valentine just as romantically.
There is so much that people wish to express during the valentine period. Most times people are unsure how to go about it. Such is the magic of flowers that by sending them as a gift you will not need to vocally express how much you care.
She will see the roses and immediately know.
